瑞柏中文學校家長參與服務辦法

本校採用家長服務計點制度,加深學生的學習經驗,並且提高教育的品質。 此辦法由校務主導,安排家長們參與學校各項活動。凡是有參加語言課程 的家庭,都必須達到家長服務點數的要求。

家長服務點數之規定:
1. 每個家庭每學年要達到 15 點以上。
2. 服務點數由校務來安排並登記。每個家庭請於註冊時繳交$75 支票押金。到學年末時,未做到基本家長服務點數義務的家庭,每個未達到的 點數需繳交$5 服務補償金。

在整個學年度都有許多累積家長服務點數的服務機會。活動包括,但不侷限 於,學校網站的維護及技術支援、籌措學校資金(學生手冊廣告)、演講/ 朗誦比賽、識字檢定、春節聯歡會、雙十遊行活動、畢業典禮、學生活動/ 比賽、協助老師和校務等等。

Requirements

Naperville Chinese School will implement the Service Point Program to enhance students’ learning experience and to improve quality of education. This program will be organized by the board members to engage parents in school activities. All parents with students enrolled in language classes must fulfill this requirement.

Service Point requirements are:

  1. Fifteen (15) points per school year for each family.

  2. Service Points are tracked throughout the school year by the board members. Every family earns points for service rendered and a $75 deposit check must be submitted at registration. There is a fee of $5 per unfulfilled point for each family at the end of school year.

The Service Point Program offers numerous serving opportunities throughout the school year. Activities include, but not limited to, School Website contents and technical support, Fund Raising (advertisement in Handbook), Speech Contest/Chinese Recitation Contest, Vocabulary Contest, Lunar New Year Celebration, Double Ten Parade, Commencement/Carnival, student activities/competitions, and assistance to teachers and board members.

  • Please arrive at the school ten (10) minutes before class starts at 2:00 p.m. and leave the school 10 minutes after classes end at 4:00 p.m. and assist with the following activities.

    • Ring the school bells at 2:00 p.m. (school starts), 3:00 p.m. (break begins), 3:10 p.m. (break ends) and 4:00 p.m. (school ends).

    • Patrol the hallway to prevent students from opening the lockers, abusing, or tampering with the school property/alarm system, running in the hallway, or any activities that violate the school regulations.

    • Assist in setting up, closing and moving school carts to storage. 

    • Assist with other ad-hoc requests. 

    • Help students exchange Honor Cards for rewards during designated dates and times.

    • Maintain an organized and orderly process during the exchange.

    • Ensure students follow the rules while waiting for their turn.

    • Assist with any additional tasks as needed.

  • Please arrive 15 minutes before the event starts and stay 15 minutes after it ends to assist with the following tasks:

    • Set up food and beverage stations before the event.

    • Serve food and ensure stations are kept tidy throughout the event.

    • Help manage food lines and maintain a smooth flow.

    • Assist with cleanup and storing leftovers afterward.

    • Support with any additional tasks as needed.
