瑞柏中文學校創校宗旨

為了弘揚中華文化、把優良的中華民族意識與傳統延續至下一代，並培養華裔子弟應用中文的能力，瑞柏中文學校於四十幾年前由本地熱心中華文化教育之人士共同創立，並已在聯邦政府及伊利諾州政府登記為非營利之組織。瑞柏中文學校在過去四十幾年間，從當初草創時借用教室上課，到後來每週日固定到 Kennedy Junior High School上課，歷經艱辛之成長過程。

本校聘用了無數優良之中文老師，不斷檢討和改善新的教學方法，並強化學校制度和加強與學生及家長們之間的溝通，以提升學生德、智、體、群四育並重之全方位教育。鑑於對華裔子弟學習中文的迫切性及文化傳承的必要性，本校除了教授中文的聽、說、讀、寫外，也提供了如扯鈴和中國武術等課外活動。讓學生在接受美國教育外，亦有機會接觸各種中華文化，注重學生的德育培訓，幫助學生建立健全的品格和正面的價值觀。

多年以來，本校經常舉辦或派遣師生參與其他文化或教育組織籌辦的學術性比賽或文化交流活動，迭獲獎項，孕育了不少華裔學生精英。未來的歲月，本校將秉持初衷，在社區裡為中文學校努力打拼，薪火相傳於下一代子孫，使中華語言及文化的精神發揚光大。

Naperville Chinese School

To promote Chinese culture, ethnic diversity and traditions to the next generation, and to encourage Chinese descendants to learn and use the Chinese language, the Naperville Chinese School was jointly established by local supporters of Chinese cultural education more than forty years ago and has been registered as a non-profit organization with the federal as well as the Illinois state government. Over the past forty-plus years, the Naperville Chinese School has grown from borrowing rooms for classes to holding weekly sessions every Sunday at Kennedy Junior High School, enduring and flourishing in the ever changing cultural landscape. 

The school has engaged expert Chinese language instructors, continually adopted and improved on teaching methods, built upon the school ecosystem, and enhanced communication with students and parents to provide a well-rounded education that promotes moral, intellectual, physical, and social development. Recognizing the benefits of exposure to the Chinese language and culture, the school not only teaches Chinese listening, speaking, reading, and writing but also offers extracurricular activities such as Chinese yoyo and Martial Arts. This allows students to experience a wide spectrum of Chinese culture while receiving language education, with a focus on ethics and helping students build strong character and positive values.

Over the years, the school has offered frequent opportunities for teachers and students to participate in academic competitions or cultural exchange activities organized by other cultural or educational institutions, consistently winning awards and nurturing outstanding Chinese pupils. In the coming years, the school will continue its original mission, striving to operate a Chinese school in the local community, passing the torch to the next generation, and promoting the spirit of the Chinese language and culture.
